A 35 year old domestic help from Myanmar was arrested on July 6 in connection with the murder of a 95 year old elderly woman at Upper Serangoon Road.

The murder happened at a two storey semi deteched house and it was alleged that the elderly woman was stabbed. She was found motionless on the floor at the landed property at Upper Seragoon Road.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that both the victim and the suspect are known to each other,” said the police.
The police stated that the case has now been classified as murder and the suspected individual will be charged in court on Wednesday (July 8).
