
According to the media release, a 34-year-old man was arrested for dangerous driving.
The incident happened on the 26 May 2020 at 8.53 pm, location is at Tampines Avenue 10 along Bedok North Road. The accident involved 3 cars and a total of 5 people were injured.
Among the 5 people who were injured, 1 is a 31-year-old woman and 1 is a 2-year-old child. All 4 adults were taken to Changi General Hospital while the child was taken to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
From a video posted on social media, a red car was seen speeding at a high speed which later hits a lorry in front. The lorry was seen crashing onto the oncoming lane after the impact.
Investigation is ongoing.
Anyone convicted for dangerous driving will face a sentence up to 1 year in jail and $5,000 fine. However, the penalty will depend on the seriousness of each case.
