Local News – A 36 year old young man(Mr Chew) touch a 20 year old boys butt at orchard mrt.
He was sentenced to 10 weeks in jail for outrage of modesty. This is not his first offense for touching little boys.
This happen when the victim was trying to exit the MRT station, while tapping his EZ-link card to exit. He felt a sensation at his butt, when he turned around he saw a guy touching his butt.
He immediately confronted the guy and seek help from the MRT staff. CCTV shows that Chew was following him and his hands were already out and prepare to “curb his itchiness”.
Apparently, this is not his first offense. Back in 2002, 14 years ago. He touch a 17 year old boy.
I do not want to judge but since this is the 2nd offense.. 10 weeks see kind of too light… If it was a female victim it would be a much heavier punishment, maybe even a whip.
