3RD HOUSEKEEPER WORKING AT NUH TESTED POSITIVE FOR THE CORONAVIRUS

According to the latest media release from the Ministry of Health, another staff working in the public health sector was tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The cases were announced by the Ministry of Health on the 2nd of May 2020. This is the 3rd housekeeper that has been tested positive for the Coronavirus.

On the 1st of May 2 housekeepers working at NUH has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Details

Case 17267 is a 27-year-old male Malaysian national who has no recent travel history to affected countries or regions. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 30 April, and is currently warded at National University Hospital (NUH).

8. He is employed as a housekeeper at NUH but had not gone to work since onset of symptoms.
