According to the Police media release, a 40-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.On 18 April 2022, at about 4.10pm, the Police received a report that a woman was allegedly molested by an unknown man along Woodlands Avenue 6.

Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him.
The man will be charged in court on 22 April 2022 with outrage of modesty, punishable under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code 1871.
The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to three years, or caning, or a fine, or any combination of such punishments.
