$400K WORTH OF DRUGS SEIZED BY CNB, 3 PEOPLE ARRESTED

The CNB released a statement saying that they have seized about 7.5kg of illicit drugs worth about $400k.

A total of 3,820g or heroin, 2,934g of cannabis, 813g of Ice and an Erimin-5 tablet were deized in an operation that spanned multiple locations in Singapore.

Cash amounting to $9,370 were also confiscated.

2 Singaporeans and a Malaysian were arrested for suspected drug activities.

In one of the cases, CNB officers raided a residential unit near Edgedale Plains, where the 24-year-old Singaporean male occupant refused to let the officers in.

He then tried to evade arrest by scaling out of a window of the 17th floor unit.

The man was pulled to safety by the officers and a search was then conducted, where 6 packets of about 776g of Ice and 2 blocks of 1,914g worth of cannabis were found and seized.

At the time of writing, police investigations are still ongoing.
