The Singapore Police said that a 41-year-old man was arrested for suspected outrage of modesty, for an incident that happened on 25 August.
He had allegedly molested a woman while crossing the road.
The Singapore Police Force was alerted to a case where a woman was allegedly molested while crossing the road at North Bridge Road on 25 August at about 5.25pm.
The purported victim managed to take a photo of the alleged molester, and she then provided the police with the photo when she lodged the police report.
Police officers from the Central Police Division later established the identity of the man through the use of police cameras and follow-up investigations.
He was swiftly arrested within one hour of the police report being lodged, and police investigations are currently ongoing.
If convicted, the man faces a jail term of up to 2 years, a fine, caning, or any combination of the punishments.
