Ng Beng Heng’s unconventional actions on that fateful night caught the attention of both passersby and the law.

The itchy private part

Picture the scene: Block 11 Chai Chee Road, a seemingly ordinary location that would soon become the center of an unusual incident. Ng was spotted outside a closed massage shop, setting the stage for his indecent act.

In a bold move, Ng pulled down his shorts in full public view to scratch his private parts. Little did he realize the implications of his actions until a passerby noticed and promptly alerted the police. The situation escalated quickly, leading to Ng’s arrest.

Ng was arrested on the same day for appearing nude in public, a charge that would soon contribute to his 11-week jail sentence.

Despite the charges, Ng was released on bail the next day, adding an intriguing layer to the narrative.

The Heartbeat@Bedok incident

Fast forward less than two months, and Ng finds himself at Heartbeat@Bedok, a complex housing various amenities. It is here that the story takes another unexpected turn.

Inside the complex, Ng’s disruptive behavior took a different form as he shouted in Mandarin. Security officer Mr. Sanjay Chandran intervened, but Ng persisted, leading to a bizarre sequence of events.

Mr. Sanjay, unable to decipher Ng’s shouting, sought assistance from his supervisor. The security personnel waited for support while attempting to handle Ng’s unpredictable behavior.

During this time, Ng took matters into his own hands, quite literally. He used his left hand to punch the urinal partition, causing it to be dislodged.

Investigations and Admission

In the aftermath, investigations revealed Ng’s admission to purposefully causing damage to the urinal partition. This admission brought clarity to the motive behind his actions and raised questions about his state of mind.

The damage incurred by Ng’s actions required repair, undertaken by an in-house technician at Heartbeat@Bedok.

The financial aspect of the incident remains uncertain as the repair cost of the urinal partition is not determined.

VI. Ng’s Plea for Leniency

Ng, facing the consequences of his actions, pleaded for leniency in court, telling the judge that he hopes to be reunited with his three fishes at home.

He also promised not to reoffend anymore.
