JJ Lin Appears To Confirm Relationship After Attending 23-Year-Old Influencer’s Graduation In New York
Singapore Mandopop star JJ Lin has once again fuelled relationship rumours after sharing photos from what appeared to be the university graduation ceremony of Chinese influencer and model Annalisa Qiqi.
The 45-year-old singer posted a series of personal photos on Chinese social media platform Weibo on May 19, including a selfie with the 23-year-old influencer dressed in graduation robes outside a stadium in New York City.
According to the location tag attached to the post, Lin was in the United States at the time.
The photos quickly sparked discussion online, with many fans believing the singer may now be publicly acknowledging the relationship rumours that have circulated since 2025.
Graduation Ceremony Held At Prestigious New York Design School
Apart from the selfie, Lin also uploaded photos showing Annalisa walking across the stage during the graduation ceremony.
The ceremony reportedly took place at Parsons School of Design, one of the best-known art and design schools under The New School in New York City.
In the caption accompanying the post, Lin reflected on recent life moments, writing:
“Some days are more bustling than usual.”
“The joys of graduation, family dinners, meeting old friends, new memories, and music that quietly comes together in between.”
He added that he was “grateful for the people who make life more precious”.
The singer also shared a family photo featuring his mother, giving followers a glimpse into his personal life outside of music and touring commitments.
Fans Show Support Despite Online Criticism
Relationship rumours involving Lin and Annalisa first surfaced in 2025 after Chinese entertainment media reported that the pair were dating despite their 22-year age gap.
Speculation intensified in December 2025 when Annalisa appeared in photographs from Lin’s mother’s birthday celebration.
At the time, Lin’s representatives neither confirmed nor denied the relationship directly, only stating that the singer was “very happy” and focused on both his personal life and career.
Following the latest Weibo update, many fans flooded the comments section with supportive messages. Several encouraged Lin to ignore criticism surrounding the age difference and continue living openly.
Others praised the singer for appearing happier and more relaxed in recent months, especially after years of maintaining a highly private personal life despite being one of Singapore’s most recognisable Mandopop celebrities.
