The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported a total of 454 new cases on 10 December 2021 with a total of 4 fatalities.
Case details
Of the 454 new cases, 436 cases belonged to the local community and four cases belonged to the foreign worker domitorites.
The remaining 14 are imported cases.
Numbers fall below 500
This is also the first time in three months that the daily cases are below 500, the last time being 457 on 9 September 2021.
Weekly infection growth rate
The weekly infection growth rate is now at 0.56, 0.02 less than what was reported on Thursday when it was at 0.58.
This rate refers to the ratio of community cases of the past week as compared to the week before.
The growth rate has been reported to remain under 1 since 13 November 2021, which indicates that cases are falling.
Total toll
The four fatalities today brings the total death toll in Singapore to 783 and the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now at 272,433.
