According to a media release, a 47-year-old man was charged on the 23 Jun 2020 for his suspected involvement of taking 168 upskirt videos at a secondary school where he was employed. The man had committed the crime between Apr 2015 to Jul 2018.

The man was charged with 6 counts of insulting a woman’s modesty. The man was also accused of insulting a woman’s modesty of his relative and another woman outside the school.
On Feb 2017, the man allegedly took an upskirt video of his relative. He then took another upskirt video of an unknown woman at Tiong Baru Plaza on 20 Mar 2017.
According to the Ministry of Education, the man has since been suspended from the school and is no longer teaching.
The case has been adjourned to next month 14 July 2020.
