48 NEW COVID-19 CASES IN SPORE, 9 OF THEM ARE UNLINKED

Singapore has today reported 48 cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 today (16 August 2021).

32 of these cases have already been placed under quarantine and are linked to previous cases.

Seven other cases are also linked to previous cases and were detected through ongoing surveillance testing.

There are five imported cases which were discovered on arrival in Singapore, making the total case count in Singapore today to be 53.

The total cases now stands at 66,225.
