A 48-year-old woman was found dead in her sleep at a HDB unit located in Hougang. Apparently, the woman passes on due to a heart attack and her family members did not notice it until 10 hours later.

According to the woman’s husband, the deceased has been suffering from schizophrenia and she was scheduled for an appointment at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) on the day of her passing. However, she did not go for her appointment as she was not feeling well.
The husband only realised that there is something wrong with his wife when he touched her hand. He then called for the assistance of the paramedics and she was pronounced dead upon their arrival.
