According to Singapore Police Force, the Police have arrested 5 people for a case of alleged motor theft.
The Police said in a Facebook post that the case activated various police units in two-vehicle pursuits.
Mothership reported the incident and stated that the suspects were between 15-19 years old consisting of 3 males and 2 females.
How they stole it?
It is believed that the suspects took a carpooling service from Compass One Shopping Centre at around 7.30 PM on 30 October 2021.
When the vehicle reached the destination at Jalan Kayu, the passengers requested the driver to buy cigarettes nearby.
While the driver went to buy the cigarettes the suspects took the vehicle and drove it off, the driver returned only to see his car drove away.

The Police eventually found the vehicle a few hours later and tried to move in for the arrest.
The driver drove the stolen vehicle and rammed head-on into an unmarked Police car before escaping.
Police Cameras
On 31 Oct, one of the suspects was spotted via a Police camera at a HDB block located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.
The driver along with a 15-year-old girl was arrested in the morning.
Investigations revealed a series of people were involved another 19-year-old who had also driven the car.
GTA style part 2
Another 19-year-old who drove the car was caught by the Police and told to step out of the vehicle but the driver sped off injuring Police officers in the process.
3 other people were investigated as accomplices of the crime.
It is believed that 3 more people were involved in the crime and all of them are or under the age of 19.
They are investigated in their roles to hide or dispose of the vehicle.
