The Police have apprehended 52 suspects aged between 16 to 65 on 30th December 2020 & 3rd Jan 2021.

They were arrested on the grounds of being suspected members of unlawful societies.
Circular Road (Boat Quay)
According to the Police the 52 suspects were arrested during a 2-week operation by the CID and 7 other Police divisions.
The checks included F&B outlets and especially nightspots such as pubs.
The Police will continue to take actions against gang activities to ensure the safety of the public.

Anyone found guilty of being member of an unlawful society can be jailed of up to 3 years and fined up to S$5,000.
