
According to NEA’s latest updates, as of Mid April, there are already 5,800 cases of the dengue fever. The figure is almost twice compared to the same period last year.
NEA Expecting this year cases to hit at least 16,000 unless there is immediate action
NEA said that the number of Dengue cases is usually high. NEA has highlighted the situation to MOH.
The weekly amount of Dengue cases in Singapore is about 300 to 400 cases.
So far 5 people have died from Dengue Fever this year.

- 16 Cases at Jalan Jurong Area
- 5 at Cases Aljunied Rd Area
- 15 Cases at Woodleigh Area
- 7 Cases at Elizabeth Drive Area
- 8 Cases at Yishun Area
- 5 Cases in the last 2 weeks at Jurong West Area

With the pandemic situation of COVID-19, it is also important to remember that Dengue fever is something that has been active in Singapore throughout the years and not to lose focus for prevention of Mosquito Breeding.
