6 MEN ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL GAMBLING @ WOODLAND & MARSILING

According to the media release, 6 men were arrested for their involvement in illegal gambling.

According to the Singapore Police Force, they had conducted a raid at Woodland Street 32 and Marsilng Road. A total of $800 along with some gambling equipment were seized on the scene.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED

40 people were spotted gathering at a bus stop located near 20 Marsiling Lane Market and Food Centre for illegal betting. It is believed that a bookie had set up a betting station at the bus stop to collect bets for horse racing. Those involved were mostly elderly.

It is still unsure if any of these men were linked to the incident.

Investigation is ongoing.
