
Six of the seven men who were accused of raping each other’s wives have been offered bail ranging from S$100,000 to S$200,000.
The crimes were committed over a time span of eight years with the alleged rapes committed at the victim’s houses. The husbands were alleged to have drugged their wives to so as to commit the deed.
The terms of their bail were that they were barred from contacting their wives and their passports were impounded. All of the individuals were subjected to electronic tagging and had a curfew to adhere to.
The accused are aged from 34 to 51 years old. It was said that all the men and their wives knew each other. All seven suspects will return to court on July 28.
