This shocking and deeply distressing event has raised numerous questions and concerns about child safety and supervision, shedding light on the importance of being vigilant as caregivers.

The Tragic Discovery

The heart-wrenching incident took place on Monday, 16th of October. The boy’s grandmother was the one who found the six-year-old unconscious inside the washing machine. Alarmed and distressed, she immediately sought help and rushed the young child to the hospital.

A subsequent post-mortem examination provided crucial insight into the cause of the boy’s untimely demise. It was determined that he had suffered blunt trauma to the head.

The Mystery Unraveled

Investigators soon began to piece together the sequence of events leading to this shocking tragedy. According to Ipoh district police chief Yahaya Hassan, it is believed that the young boy had climbed onto the running washing machine before falling into the tub.

Adding to the complexity of this situation, it was revealed that the child had autism, a condition that may have influenced his actions.

The Silent Night

One of the most perplexing aspects of this incident was the fact that no one in the household seemed to have noticed what the young boy was doing.

Mr. Yahaya explained that the boy’s family members were asleep during the time when this tragedy occurred. The silence of the night was broken only by the discovery of the child in the washing machine.
