
A 6-year-old boy was involved in a car accident that resulted in him being trapped under the wheel of the car.
A 51-year-old male driver has since been arrested for a negligent act causing grievous hurt.
The incident reportedly happened at a zebra crossing outside Safra Toa Payoh, at Lorong 6 Toa Payoh, at about 2pm on 15 April.
The boy, who was with his mother at the time, was trapped under the wheel of the car as three passers-by attempted to lift the car to free him, but were unable to do so.
Another passerby offered a car jack to them to lift up the car, and the boy was finally freed.
However, the boy was unconscious when being conveyed to the hospital.
His mother was very distraught at the scene.
