60-YEAR-OLD SINGAPOREAN DIED FROM COVID-19, 7 MORE CLUSTERS

With over 17,000 cases in Singapore, Singapore is now one of the top countries in Asia for the number of people tested positive for the coronavirus.

On the 1st of May 2020, the Ministry of Health announced another death case of another Singapore citizen. The 60-year-old male Singaporean passed away from complications due to Covid-19 infection.

The man is case 2728, he was first confirmed with the coronavirus on the 13th April 2020.

Two family members of the men are also confirmed cases.

The 7 New Clusters

  • 10 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at Joo Koon Lodge (68 Joo Koon Circle).
  • Eight of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at Tuas South Incineration Plant (98 Tuas South Avenue 3).
  • Eight of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 19 Kian Teck Road.
  • Eight of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 12 Tuas Place
  • 45 of the newly confirmed cases are linked to 27 previous cases to form a new cluster at 15 Tuas View Square.
  • 15 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to a new cluster at 20 Sungei Kadut Avenue.
  • One of the newly confirmed cases is linked to 20 previous cases to form a new cluster at 148 Woodlands Industrial Park E5.
