
The police have stepped up their crackdown on vice-related activities, and 67 people were arrested for crimes involving illegal gambling, drugs and unlawful societies.

The Singapore Police Force carried out a series of operations from December 15 to 26 to combat crimes across the island, including popular locations such as Clarke Quay, Orchard Road and Boat Quay.

The police also conducted enforcement checks at public entertainment outlets and massage establishments. A total of five massage outlets were found to be operating without a license and a factory was found to be housing an unlicensed public entertainment outlet. 36 customers were found having a private celebration in the factory.
The two organizers of the party will be investigated for providing public entertainment without a license.
