According to a media release, a 67-year-old man was arrested on 19 Nov 2020 for molesting a woman at a bus stop along Victoria Street. The incident happened on the 04 Nov 2020, the police were alerted on the day of the incident.

After investigations, the police managed to establish the identity of the man with the aid of the police CCTV and arrested him.
Police investigations are ongoing.
If convicted for the offence of insulting a woman’s modesty, the man could be jailed up to 2 years, fined or caned or any combination of the three.
