A netizen recently had several suspicious transactions on her account and she contacted POSB bank for support.
However, the bank told the victim to approach Ebay to cancel the transaction, after contacting Ebay, the Ebay customer told the victim to contact the bank instead.
There were two transactions that took place $684.08 and $19.51
She posted screenshots and her story on Facebook which has since gone viral with over 1600 shares.

Here’s the thing, on 6/6 and 7/6 respectively, I received two USD otps (SMS), and then I was worried about whether I would have my account stolen, so I went in and looked at it, but there was a 20/5 number that was so small that I didn’t pay attention to it and found that there was no transaction record and no pending record on the 6th and 7th
By the 8th, a bunch of pending transactions appeared, and there was an SGD 684.08 transaction that was traded on my debit card that was traded directly through my card number.
I’ll call customer service, customer service to help me block the card and then will help me keep an eye on the money until the transaction is successful, they will investigate, and have to wait 14 working days.
Customer service said to me that SGD 684.08 is shopping on the EBAY US website and asked me if I bought on ebay?! Also told me that I can go to ebay to see if I can cancel the transaction I also asked customer service ebay what is Ebay and Where do I go find. customer service said Google.

客服对我说SGD 684.08 是在EBAY美国网站购物，问我有没有买ebay？！还跟我说可以去ebay问看看可不可以取消交易 我还问客服ebay是什么来的 我要去哪里找 客服说Google 我就去找ebay客服 图3-13都是ebay客服的记录 最后ebay说他不可以帮我cancel我需要找银行，我就打回银行银行也说帮我留意这笔钱 马币就RM2000++ 对我这个5毛钱就牛车轮将大的人来说这个钱超级多
最近太多这样的case了也有几个好心人和我分享他们的经历 有拿回钱的也有不了了之的 但我希望有更多人可以关注这样的事。
