72-year-old Hong Kong actor, Lee Lung Kei, is set to marry his much younger, 36-year-old girlfriend Chris Wong later this year.
The former TVB actor said that his girlfriend told him that if they want to get married, he has to ask her parents how many engagement gifts they want.
Lee has been dating Wong, who is half his age, for the last four years; he was supposed to meet her parents in China but postponed the meeting due to the pandemic.
But with the borders now open, Lee is looking forward to finally meeting her parents.
Lee, who is better known for his roles in shows such as Beyond The Realm of Conscience, said that if there are no hiccups, he is planning to marry Wong this year.
However, he added, that he will be keeping it low-key and will not be holding a wedding banquet, he’s just going to call a few friends over and have a simple meal instead.
His relationship with his girlfriend has been dubbed a “grandfather-granddaughter relationship: because of their huge age difference, but Lee insists that they are compatible in and out of the bedroom, even though he has 3 adult children from his first marriage who are all older than his current girlfriend.
He said that if he isn’t coordinated with her, how can she handle it when she is so young?
Solidifying his stance, Lee said that in the 4 years that they have been dating, they have not broken up. He also added that he is planning to leave all his properties to Wong.
He added that he still has the ability to make money and that he can’t bring the money with him into his coffin anyway.
