
A 73-year-old man was arrested after allegedly slashing a man who tried to break up a brawl with a fruit knife.

The incident was believed to have happened at an office above a coffeeshop at Block 27 Bendemeer Road. The victims suffered gashes across his chest and arms. The victims who are both father (69-year-old) and son (29-year-old) were injured.
The reason for the attack is currently unknown.
Both victims were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. The elderly man was arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
