A 76-year-old man was apprehended after he was found involved in a criminal intimidation case.

The man locked himself in his unit located at Blk 38C Bendemeer Road on the 10 Feb 2021.
SCDF was spotted by residents deploying safety nets and an airbag at the bottom of the unit in case the man performs a rash act.

A crowd gathers after Police and SCDF arrives, according to the Police the 76-year-old refused to open and numerous efforts were made to convince the 76-year-old.
SCDF had to be deployed in case of an emergency.

The man was finally apprehended at around 11.30 PM and has since been referred to Institue of Mental(IMH).
The man was not injured.
