79-YEAR-OLD MAN DIES OF COVID-19, S’PORE DEATH TOLL AT 40

 As of 5 August 2021, 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed and verified that there are 96 cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection.

Death Case

Case 67610, a 79-year-old male Singaporean, has passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection on 4 August 2021.

He had sought medical treatment at Sengkang General Hospital on 4 August for shortness of breath and low blood pressure and was confirmed to have a COVID-19 infection on the same day. He had not been vaccinated against COVID-19 and had a history of heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypertension.
