8 Men Aged 36 To 70 Charged Over Separate Molestation Cases Across Singapore

Eight men aged between 36 and 70 have been charged over separate alleged molestation and outrage of modesty cases that took place across Singapore between June 2025 and June 2026.

The incidents allegedly occurred in various parts of the island, including Marina Boulevard, Raffles Place, Victoria Street, Duxton Road, Jalan Sultan and Upper Cross Street. Victims ranged in age from 16 to 54.

According to the Singapore Police Force, the suspects were either arrested at the scene or identified through follow-up investigations before being taken into custody.

Alleged Offences Across Multiple Locations

The oldest accused, a 70-year-old man, allegedly molested a 54-year-old woman near Marina Boulevard on June 22, 2025. He faces three counts of outrage of modesty as well as one count of exhibiting an object intended to insult the modesty of another person.

A 45-year-old man was also charged with two counts of outrage of modesty after allegedly molesting a 26-year-old woman along Connaught Drive on October 4, 2025. Police arrested him at the scene shortly after the incident.

Another case involved a 33-year-old man accused of molesting a 16-year-old girl along Farrer Park Station Road on February 8, 2026. Besides two counts of outrage of modesty, he also faces two counts of allegedly uttering words and exhibiting an object intended to insult the girl’s modesty.

Several Arrests Followed Police Investigations

A 44-year-old man allegedly molested a 35-year-old woman near Raffles Place on March 7, 2026. He was later identified and arrested following police investigations.

In another incident, a 37-year-old man is accused of molesting a 35-year-old woman inside a toilet cubicle along Victoria Street on April 20, 2026. He faces one count of outrage of modesty.

A separate 37-year-old man was also charged after allegedly molesting a 26-year-old woman along Jalan Sultan on May 30, 2026. Police tracked him down and arrested him following investigations.

Meanwhile, a 36-year-old man allegedly molested a woman of the same age along Upper Cross Street on June 6, 2026. Officers arrested him at the scene.

Suspect Allegedly Targeted Two Women On The Same Day

One of the more serious cases involved a 48-year-old man who allegedly committed two separate offences on the same day in the Tanjong Pagar area.

Police said he allegedly molested a 30-year-old woman along Duxton Road before later lifting the skirt of a 26-year-old woman near Duxton Hill on May 2, 2026.

He was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of outrage of modesty as well as one count of making a gesture intended to insult the modesty of another person.

Police Reiterate Zero Tolerance For Sexual Offences

Under Singapore law, outrage of modesty carries a maximum penalty of up to three years’ jail, a fine, caning, or any combination of these punishments.

The offence of uttering words or making gestures intended to insult the modesty of another person is punishable by up to one year in jail, a fine, or both.

The Singapore Police Force stressed that it maintains zero tolerance towards sexual offenders and will continue taking firm action against those who threaten the safety of the community.

Members of the public are advised to move away from the alleged offender if it is safe to do so, call the police immediately, and try to remember details such as the suspect’s appearance, clothing, location and direction of travel. Police added that prompt reporting can help officers identify suspects quickly and prevent further offences.
