It all happen at 8pm Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio, with Dad working the whole day and in bed and Mom being burn out falling asleep on the couch.
The 8-year-old son and his 4-year-old sister are hungry for McDonald’s even though they had dinner earlier.
The young lad come to a conclusion this is an issue he can solve by himself instead of getting his parents to assist.
East Palestine Police Officer Jacob Koehler told FOX 8 News what happened next:
The boy seated his sister in the back of the father’s work van before he got behind the wheel. He drove about a mile from his house, through four intersections and over railroad tracks. The trip required several right-hand turns and one left-hand turn.
The police was called when witnesses spotted the underage driver from the other vehicles. It was said he didn’t knockdown a single garbage can, stick to all the traffic rules, keeping with speed limit and came to a stop at red lights.
McDonald’s staffs thought they were being pranked by the parents of their kids when they reach the drive-thru at the fast-food restaurant with the boy paying for the cheeseburgers from his piggy bank with cash.
