81 NEW COVID-19 INFECTIONS – 16 IMPORTED CASES, HIGHEST SINCE APRIL

As of 12 pm today (Aug 15), Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 81 cases of COVID-19 infections in Singapore, which includes 10 crew members who arrived in a vessel on August 8.

16 of the new cases were imported, which is the highest number of imported cases since April 1.

There are also 3 community cases, of which two are Singaporeans/PRs and one is a work pass holder.

The remainder of infections are work permit holders currently under quarantine.

The total number of cases in Singapore is 55,661.
