The Singapore Police Force said on Tuesday (24 May) that a 38-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of housebreaking and theft.
More than $83,000 worth of items were purportedly stolen from a unit that was broken into along Kovan Road on Saturday at about 9pm.
The stolen valuables include jewelry and other accessories, such as a watch in a green case, and a handbag inside an orange box.
The man was identified by officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division and he was arrested on Monday, with all the stolen items recovered.
The man will be charged in court later today (25 May) with housebreaking and theft and upon conviction, he faces a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine.
