
The National Environment Agency (NEA) said in a press release on 11 October that enforcement actions were taken against 84 people from 8 October to 10 October.

  They had breached Safe Management Measures (SMMs) at hawker centres by gathering in groups of more than 2, failing to observe a safe distance of at least 1 metre and failure to wear a mask or not wearing them properly.
The offences occurred at the following locations:
- Newton Food Centre,
 - Whampoa Food Centre,
 - Haig Road Market & Food Centre,
 - Golden Mile Food Centre,
 - Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, and
 - Chinatown Complex Market & Food Centre.
