970g of heroin worth more than $68,000 confiscated in an operation at YISHUN

On Wednesday ( 1 March 2017) in an operation at Yishun industrial building Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) confiscated 970g of heroin worth more than $68,000.

4 suspects was arrested in the operation, 48 years old Malaysian man, 45 years old Malaysian woman, 29 years old Singapore man and 52 years old Singaporean man.

More than $8,000 cash were found in the possession of the Malaysian man.

Investigation is ongoing.

Those convicted of trafficking more than 15g of diamorphine or pure heroin can face the death penalty under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
