A video emerged online showing an accident that took place near Serangoon MRT Exit F.
The victim was seen lying on the road as paramedics tried their hardest to revive him/her.
The traffic police was also as the scene.
The netizen who took the video said:
“Hi, I would like to share this accident that happened at near Serangoon Mrt Exit F.
I have complained to LTA before previously regarding in the delay in the traffic lights. Which causes confusion to the pedestrians. However, they told me there’s nothing can be done due to the sequencing of traffic lights.
For instance, in the video, you see one of the roads stopping first then another road the vehicles are still travelling.
Hence, pedestrians will assume that the opposite road stops and their side can cross too.
Please take a look at this video. I hope you can raise awareness so people in future won’t kenna.
Me and my sister had a near miss once at this traffic light. I also saw others having a near miss.”
