Carousell took action against a couple of sellers on their platform for discriminating against a customer who wanted to buy packages for a hotel.

The seller, @hotelOOO told the man that only Chinese guests were accepted, claiming that it was because of the “latest Covid-19 rule”.
Carousell said that they do not condone offensive behavior or discrimination of any kind and the account was restricted from the marketplace.
However, it has since been reinstated after the offender acknowledged the restriction.
