
According to the Ministry of Health, MOH has detected a total of 5,324 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, with 4,651 in the community, 661 in the migrant worker dormitories and 12 imported cases as of 27 October 2021, 12 pm.
MOH reported that the weekly infection growth rate is 1.15.

Ten additional people, aged 54 to 96, have died as a result of COVID-19 infection complications. Except for one unvaccinated example, all had underlying medical issues.
Medical conditions in Singapore
In the last 28 days, 98.7 percent of the 90,203 infected people had no or mild symptoms, 0.9 percent needed oxygen in the general ward, 0.1 percent were unstable and under close monitoring in the intensive care unit (ICU), 0.1 percent were critically ill and intubated in the ICU, and 0.2 percent died.
1,777 patients are warded in hospitals. In the general ward, 308 patients require oxygen supplementation, 76 are unstable and require careful monitoring in the ICU, and 66 are seriously sick and intubated in the ICU. The current total ICU use rate is 79.8 percent, and the Ministry of Health (MOH) is working to provide more ICU beds.
