Lee Sin Hee, a 38-year-old Malaysian national, pleaded guilty to 2 counts of performing an obscene act.
He had repeatedly stimulated himself on a strain and was fined $2,000 on 10 November.
What happened?
Lee was on the MRT travelling towards Harbourfront on the Circle Lin on 12 April.
He was standing near the door facing a woman nearby and stimulated himself in his pants.
He stopped after the woman alighted at Serangoon.
Lee then moved to the middle of the MRT cabin and stood in front of another woman.
He started stimulating himself again while using his bag to shield himself.
The woman then moved to another cabin and Lee’s act was spotted by another passenger who told him to stop and asked him to alight at the next station.
An SMRT staff then called the police at Lorong Chuan MRT Station.
Lee was back at it again on 21 August at around 1pm, boarding a train on the North South Line and heading towards Woodlands.
Lee felt aroused when he saw a woman sitting in the train that was heading from Yio Chu Kang to Ang Mo Kio and started stimulating himself.
Another woman opposite the victim saw what happened and shielded her 8-year-old nieces from seeing what was happening.
Lee then alighted at Khatib and the women informed the train staff of what just happened.
