POOR CAT EATEN BY LARGE PYTHON AT CLEMENTI HDB BLOCK

A netizen shared a couple of photos on Facebook of a cat being eaten by a python at a HDB estate in Clementi.

it is unknown if the poor kitty was a community cat or somebody’s pet, with the Facebook post claiming that it was most likely a pet cat that was roaming around the estate.

The unfortunate incident purportedly took place on 13 November at Block 343 Clementi Avenue 5.

The post further adds that the community cat feeder of the estate has since been notified of the incident.

Python yet to be caught

The post then updated that the python has yet to be caught, with the reptile last seen slithering on the ground near Block 410 and 416 at Commonwealth Avenue West.

“****ATTENTION: owner of this cat + community cats feeders of Clementi!!!!****

Location 343 Clementi

Just informed by a feeder nearby that last Saturday, this grey cat passed away.

Unknown if the cat is community or pet cat.

But likely roaming pet cat. If you know whose cat it is, please tell the owner that it is gone.

Feeders nearby, please be very alert and call Acres at 97837782 if you see the python. Thank you.
