The number had a +65 prefix in front and the scammer had a photo of a Chinese policeman as his profile picture.

The woman asked him to spell his own name, to which the scammer found difficulty in doing so.

He claimed to be from the CID, but the woman didn’t believe him and asked him for his name.

The scammer then gave her a Chinese name, to which the woman told him that he has a Chinese name but he had an Indian accent.

The man tried to ask her if she was using “Mastercard, Visa or a normal card”, and the woman asked him where he was calling from.
