COE PRICES INCREASED TO $57K FOR CATEGORY A CARS, HIGHEST IN 6 YEARS

The COE prices for Category A cars rose to the highest since November 2015.

COE prices for Category A cars (1,600cc and below with horsepower of under 130bhp), saw an increase of about 3.6% from $55,001 to $57,010.

The COE prices for the bigger and more powerful cars increased to $80,401.

COE prices for commercial vehicles like buses and vehicles transporting goods increased to $45,000.

Motorcycle COE prices rose to $9,401, and open category COEs for any vehicle types dropped to $85,000.

A quota of about 1,791 COEs were made available and saw about 2,569 bids.
