A 24-year-old man allegedly attacked another 24-year-old man with a knife along Buangkok Crescenet on 22 December at around 5.30am.
Five men between the ages of 21 and 27 were arrested for their suspected involvement, along with another 27-year-old woman.
The victim suffered wounds to his arms and face and was treated at a hospital.
The victim was known to the alleged attacker, according to the police’s preliminary investigations.
The victim and the attacker had purportedly gotten into a fight following a dispute and the assailant then attacked the victim with a knife.
The six persons who were allegedly involved were identified and arrested within the same day through CCTV images and ground inquiries.
A knife was recovered and seized from one of the suspects, and a 24-year0old man is due to be charged tomorrow (24 December) with rioting armed with a deadly weapon.
