An SBS Transit bus was seen beating a red light and almost running over 3 pedestrians crossing the road, including a father with his young daughter.

The incident happened along Jurong East Avenue 1 on 28 December.
SBS Transit said that they have investigated the incident and that they do not condone the dangerous actions of the bus caption.
The senior vice-president of corporate communications at SBS Transit, Tammy Tan, said that they are thankful that no one was injured and that they apologize to the pedestrians for the “distress caused”.
Tan added that they take a very serious view of this lapse and that the company will be taking stern disciplinary action against the bus captain.
