Blindsided divorce with cheating. I was wondering if you ever had an ex reach out that you thought you would never hear from again.

Found out she was cheating less than one year into our marriage. She was immediately cold and wanted nothing to do with me. Our relationship had no fighting, no abuse. Everything seemed so wonderful. I guess she had communication issues. Im posting this wondering if anyone has ever had an ex reach out years later acknowledging there behavior or even apologizing.
I don’t expect to ever hear from her again as we haven’t spoken since September other than our lawyers finalizing the divorce.

- I had a similar situation. Married for 2 years and she up and left me for another guy who was married with kids. She had major communication issues because I thought things were great, she let every little thing bother her and never told me. Honestly I would love an apology from her for not communicating well in our relationship and hurting me as bad as she did but I don’t expect anything. It’s been 7 years since the split. Honestly I’m ok if she never reaches out because the only thing better than an apology is to never hear from her again. Significantly better off without her in my life.
