A video emerged online showing an Audi A4 beating the red light at a traffic stop along Hougang Avenue 4 yesterday.

The incident happened on 16 January at about 6.26pm.
The camcar was seen stopping for the red light (the traffic light had been red for some time) and the Audi just bulldozed through the red light without slowing down.

It is an offence to beat a red light in Singapore.
Drivers found guilty of failing to conform to traffic light signals face a composition fine of $400 for light vehicles and $500 for heavy vehicles.
