A netizen shared how she visited a vegetarian stall, Tian En Vegetarian, is running a “Pay It Forward” initiative where patrons can pay for the meal of the next customer, or accept the charity of someone else and eat for free.
Here is the story:
Today I was at Geylang Lorong 25A and saw this vegetarian food stall. Thought of getting some beehoon for my family. Bought 4pkt and bill came out to be $13.80.
Before I could pay the lady at the cashier, I was told that the food is paid for by people. I was like shocked! Who? I asked… and started to look around….
But they showed me a sign that stated “Pay it Forward”.
We can either pay the bill at any amount to allow the next person to eat for free or just accept the charity of someone else and eat for free.
I was amazed that such a thing existed in Singapore! Please support this stall.
