ANG MOH HEADBUTTED MAN OUTSIDE CLUB AND BROKE HIS NOSE, FINED $5K

A 32-year-old man from the United Kingdom, Tyson Wayne Plant, was fined $5,000 on 20 January after pleading guilty to one charge of voluntarily causing hurt.

He had reportedly headbutted another man outside a club and fractured the victim’s nose.

What happened?

On 18 August 2018, Plant was with his friends drinking at Kilo Lounge at 21 Tanjong Pagar Road, when he got into an argument with other patrons outside the club.

One of the patrons reportedly punched Plant in the face.

A 30-year-old man (the victim) intervened and attempted to de-escalate the situation and following that, the victim then tried to walk away but was approached by Plant.

Plant then headbutted the victim in the face and broke his nasal bone.

The victim then sought medical help and was given 14 days MC.

Plant then paid the victim $12,000 as compensation back in May 2021, in addition to the fine that he received yesterday.
