Fuel pump prices have been raised by about 2 to 7 cents from October due to the rising oil prices amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Howeverm Shell lowered their prices by 1 cent on 21 January, which SPC increased their prices by 7 cents.
Fuel prices
According to Fuel Kaki, a tracker of fuel pump prices that was set up by the Consumers Association of Singsapore, SPC’s 92-, 95- and 98- octane petrols have been raised to $2.62, $2.65 and $3.13 per litre respectively; while their diesel has been raised to $2.20 per litre, following the price hike.
Caltex and Esso have both priced their 92-octane petrol at $2.67.
THe 95-octane fuel is being priced at $2.66 at Sinopec, while Caltex is pricing it at $2.71. The 98-octant prices are $3.26 at Sinopec and $3.16 at Esso.
Premium petrol is being sold at $3.26 at Sinopec, $3.34 at Caltex and $3.40 at Shell, while diesel is priced at $2.20, $2.22, $2.23 and $2.25 at Sinopec, Shell, Esso and Caltex respectively.
Further price adjustments likely
It is likely that there will be further adjustment to prices, with Esso making their latest change in the late afternoon on Friday, and Shell in the evening.
