MBS WARNS PUBLIC OF SCAM MSGS CIRCULATING, PRETENDING TO BE THEM

The Marina Bay Sands posted a notice informing the public about scam messages that are circulating, impersonating them.

The scam messages claim to provide online gambling and membership perks, and MBS said that they have been made aware of the situation.

Here is their statement:

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have become aware of messages claiming to provide online gambling and membership perks on behalf of Marina Bay Sands. Based on our current checks, we have not found any indication of unauthorized use or access of patron data that is related to this.  

We would like to remind everyone that Marina Bay Sands:

– Does not offer any online or remote gambling services, nor are we associated with any gambling website service providers

– We will never request membership-related information or other personal identification info in text messages or by email

Please do not engage with such mobile phone text messages or emails. Thank you for staying vigilant.
