Lee was a senior manager at Certis Cisco Protection Services and had allegedly received bribes of about $83,000. He was working in the security solutions and development department at the time of the alleged offense and had purportedly accepted money from Abdul Razeez Rasit, 35, and Nazarisham Mohamed Isa, 42, from Scar Services, between 2017 and 2019.

Certis Cisco said that they removed Lee from all of his duties immediately after learning that he was under investigation, and he then resigned on 31 December 2019.

Razeez is facing 6 counts of corruption, while Nazarisiham is facing 13 counts of graft, one count of forgery, and one count of using a forged document.

What happened?

Razeez and Nazarisham allegedly bribed Lee with about $43,000 to get him to do favours for their firm.

Nazarisham then allegedly gave Lee another $40,000 in bribes through a car loan by allegedly forging Certis documents.

According to the CPIB, Lee allegedly forged documents like standing orders and safe-keeping receipts related to the deposit of gemstones.

They were allegedly forged and intended to make others believe that the Certis Cisco Security, as well as the Auxiliary Police Force had issued the documents.

Lee also allegedly forged an insurance certification document with Nazarisham, who separately is being accused to have used and presented a false safe-keeping receipt by submitting it to a notary public.
